Creating Magnificent Star

In this tutorial we will learn about how to create a star by using a simple document. We will do this in following steps.

1. Create the Square document, use 1200?1200 pix. 300ppi. We fill in black color.
2. To the same layer (name the layer "Star"), use filter Lens Flare with adjustments (options):

3.
Use transform, clamp alt and from sides in regular intervals reduce the image.

4. Switched on warp:

It should turn out so:

Under this layer create a new layer (Background) and it is filled in black.

5. Use the filter shear (filter => distort => shear)

approximately so:

6. To layer Star it is used perspective as in figure below:

7. Duplicate the layer Star, display it as horizontal (in the menu edit => transform => flip horizontal), put a mode of mixing lighten and merge the  layers (except for a background).

8. Once again duplicate it, turn on 90 degrees, put a mode of mixing lighten and again merge the layers:

9. Once again duplicate, a mode of mixing - lighten and turn on 45 degrees:

10. Now duplicate, a mode of mixing - lighten, edit => transform => scale and it is reduced on 50%:

11. Now duplicate the same layer and it is reduced on 50 %:

12. Merge all layers except for the Background. Duplicate a layer with a star and blur with parameters:

13. Also put for this layer a mode of mixing-overlay. We give tone a dim layer (image => adjustments => hue/saturation):

14. Do the following settings:
image => ajustments => curves with adjustments (options):
